Raed Bou Ajram
is a Lebanese-American screenwriter, author and script consultant.
His original television series have been produced by some of the biggest studios in the Middle East, including MBC Studios and Eagle Films, and have been headlined by some of the brightest A-list stars in the Arab world, resulting on over 40 hours of produced content.
Raed’s latest offering, العودة (Homecoming), premiered on MBC4 and Shahid – the Middle East’s leading streaming platform – in February of 2020. The series was also broadcast by LBC International and MBC Persia as part of their 2020 Ramadan line-up, and by MBC1 and MBC Drama later that year. العودة stars Daniella Rahme, Nicolas Mouawad, Ehab Shaaban and Wissam Fares. In 2021, the show was nominated for Best Lebanese Series at the Murex D’Or Awards in Beirut.
Raed’s other works include his debut show تحالف الصبّار (Cactus Alliance), which premiered on MBC4 and MBC Egypt in 2014, and stars a pan-Arab cast headlined by Sherif Salama, Nesreen Tafesh, Rita Hayek and Mahmoud Nasr. He also wrote the pilot episode for an animated children’s series called سارة و فارس (Sarah & Fares), which was commissioned by KSA-based Aya Animations in 2018.
Raed’s third television series, a psychological thriller, is currently in development. He is also working on his first novel, a domestic-noir thriller.
In addition to his creative endeavors in the media & entertainment space, Raed also offers a copywriting consultancy service, helping companies across various industries to define and frame their corporate narrative and strategic brand messaging.
